Organizations

warning

RehabAlpha is still under active development. It is not yet HIPAA compliant and should only be used with dummy data.

Data model

An organization is the top-level data container in RehabAlpha and typically represents a single therapy company.

All data within an organization is private, and cannot be viewed by users who don't belong to the organization.

Discussion

In RehabAlpha, an organization generally corresponds to a single therapy company. Each organization contains its own set of people (therapists, patients, physicians, and staff), along with associated payors, facilities, and operational data.

Data visibility

Organizations define a strict data boundary. Data belonging to one organization is completely isolated from all others.

Only users who are members of an organization can view or interact with its data.

Users with multiple organizations

A single RehabAlpha user account may belong to more than one organization. While uncommon, this can occur—for example, when a PRN therapist works with multiple therapy companies and uses a single RehabAlpha account linked to each organization.
